Tailored Gutter Systems Dedicated to Structural Integrity
HOW we calculate and design an apt system tailored to your home or building begins with our evaluating particular characteristics, including aesthetics, of your structure.

EVALUATION of gutter size includes measures of roof finish with drip edge. (CGS photo)

Rainfall patterns; the style, type (shingle, tile etc..) and area of roof; and the roof's pitch, among other things, have a direct relationship to the volume and velocity of the runoff to be captured and redirected in efforts to better protect foundations, landscaping ... etc..

Volume and Velocity consequently influence the placement and size of gutter and/or leader heads and the spacing, locations and size of downspouts. Also special attention is given to  increased flows which generally occur at the intersection, or valley, between two internal sloping roof planes.

Gutters are normally referred to by the measurement at the top of their opening. Leader heads -- also known as conductor heads -- fit over the scupper and are measured by height, width, depth and the size of the outlet, while downspouts are generally measured  by depth and width, or by diameter.

Variants in the choice of systems include seamless vs sectional. Our seamless (or continuous) gutters are extruded onsite using an extruder to customize the fit and minimize seams. Our crews pride themselves on their miters (corners) cut directly into the stock material itself producing the cleanest line possible.

Custom box gutters are manufactured in sections to individual site specifications in either aluminum, copper, stainless, galvanized or painted steel.
Options (Brackets, Spikes & Ferrules, Hidden Hangers, Screws, Straps etc..) for mounting your system depend on what is best suited to the individual job.
Finally, essential for gutter success is maintenance. Systems should periodically be cleaned and kept free of debris. Leaf catching systems can help in areas where heavy nearby foliage is likely to fall into the gutter thus clogging the system, though even protected gutters will require occasional cleaning.
